Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Associate to join our team at EightSix Network. As a Front Desk Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room assignments, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all guest arrivals and departures, including room assignments and requests for late check-out.
  • Process payments and distribute/activate room keys.
  • Verify and adjust billing for guests.
  • Inform relevant staff when guests are waiting for a room to become available.
  • Deliver messages to guests.
  • Enter departures into the computer system.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping to track room preparation and respond to guest inquiries.
  • Complete administrative paperwork for guests.
  • Use the telephone standard.
  • Prepare and verify daily reports, occupancy lists, and credit card authorization reports.
  • Provide information and assistance to guests.
  • Respond to, record, and resolve all guest complaints, questions, or requests; ensure follow-up to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Arrange transportation for guests/visitors.
  • Count and reconcile cash in the beginning and end of shift.
  • Process guest checks, handle all types of payments, vouchers, refunds, and billing, and make change.
  • Alert Security in case of theft.
  • Follow and apply all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and all work-related hazards; ensure a clean and complete uniform; maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times on the job site; respect confidentiality in the dissemination of information specific to the brand and/or hotel; protect all company assets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, anticipating their needs and responding accordingly, assist guests with disabilities, and thank guests warmly.
  • Use clear and professional language in all communication; answer the phone using appropriate language.
  • Develop and maintain positive professional relationships; unite and assist each other to achieve common goals; listen and respond appropriately to employee problems.
  • Meet quality assurance standards.
  • Be accustomed to working on your feet, sitting, and moving for an extended period.
  • Move, lift, carry, pull, and place loads of up to 4.5 kg independently.
  • Perform all other tasks requested by supervisors and relevant to the position.
