Position Overview:

The Financial Crime Risk Management Supervisor is a pivotal role within the organization, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Specialized Financial Crimes Risk Management. This position plays a crucial part in supporting the Enterprise Risk Assessment Team through effective technology management, methodological execution, and relationship oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the administration and maintenance of End User Computing (EUC) databases essential for risk assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Document and articulate requirements for tools utilized in Money Laundering (ML), Terrorist Financing (TF), Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption (ABAC), and Sanctions risk assessments.
  • Foster relationships with AML teams and risk assessment personnel to enhance the development and deployment of risk assessment processes.
  • Support the quality assurance and quality control initiatives within the Enterprise Risk Assessment Team, including conducting analytic-based checks on submitted data.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and data analysis, maintaining organized repositories of documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager to ensure the effectiveness and consistency of the enterprise-wide risk assessment program.
  • Stay informed on industry developments and changes in regulations related to ML, TF, ABAC, and Sanctions.
  • Contribute to a respectful and inclusive workplace, promoting open communication and teamwork.
  • Participate in enterprise-wide projects and represent the Enterprise Risk Assessment Team in various initiatives.
  • Assist in regulatory examinations and audits by providing necessary information and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (7+ years in a relevant field).
  • ACAMS certification is a valuable asset.
  • Experience in compliance or risk management is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of ML, TF, ABAC, and Sanctions risk assessment best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
