Group Financial Controls Specialist

At The Empire Life Ins. Co, we are seeking a highly skilled Group Financial Controls Specialist to join our Group Solutions team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, identifying and mitigating financial risks, and providing expert advice to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate financial risks, and develop strategies to minimize their impact.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on financial matters, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, risk management, and internal controls.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and company policies.
