About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Reseller and Distributor Markets Business Development Executive to join our team at Canon Canada. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with tech resellers and distributors, with a focus on print and document imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the reseller market, developing and executing strategies to grow and develop the B2B reseller and distribution channel.
  • Partner Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing resellers and distributors, ensuring their needs are met and they are equipped to succeed with Canon's products.
  • Sales Performance: Meet and exceed sales expectations for the assigned product line, forecasting revenue and tracking sales data to inform business decisions.
  • Training and Support: Present and train resellers on the assigned product line, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills needed to effectively promote and sell Canon's products.
  • Program Management: Manage distributor and reseller programs, ensuring they are aligned with Canon's business objectives and goals.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in sales with a focus on tech distributors and/or resellers.
  • Business Development Mindset: Ability to think strategically and develop business plans to grow and develop the B2B reseller and distribution channel.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with resellers and distributors.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to grasp technology and deliver product demonstrations and training to distributors.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to tradeshows across Canada and the US as required (less than 10%).
