Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new merchants, negotiating contracts, and maintaining existing relationships with our partners. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative company that is shaping the future of the food industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire new merchants and assist them in achieving higher orders and gross merchandise volume (GMV)
  • Negotiate contracts with potential merchants and maintain existing relationships
  • Conduct regular merchant visits and apply for/replace merchant materials as needed
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Responsible for planning and executing local market campaigns to increase daily average users
  • Liaise with Marketing and Delivery Operation to align strategies aimed at increasing GMV
Requirements
  • Fluency in Mandarin is required
  • 1 year of experience in business development or sales roles and customer experience in the foodservice or delivery industry is a plus
  • Strong preference will be given to candidates who worked in/with local Chinese student associations and who are passionate about local restaurant foods
  • Strong time management and project management skills
  • High sensitivity to market trends and data
  • Strong commercial acumen and a desire to work with restaurants
  • Excellent teamwork ability and cooperation with different teams to promote business cooperation
  • Have a valid driver's license and a vehicle
