Job Title: HR Employee Experience and Wellbeing Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Employee Experience and Wellbeing Consultant to join our team at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a vital role in supporting the experience and well-being of our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement employee experience and wellbeing initiatives to enhance the overall work environment
  • Collaborate with HR team members to design and deliver training programs and workshops on employee wellbeing and experience
  • Conduct needs assessments and analyze data to inform employee experience and wellbeing strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with employees, managers, and leaders to promote a culture of wellbeing and employee experience
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in employee experience and wellbeing and apply this knowledge to inform our initiatives
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in human resources, health sciences, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in employee wellbeing, workplace wellness, health promotion, and/or human resources
  • Superior interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and ability to function as a collaborative team member
  • Experience using HR/Payroll systems and database reporting
  • Ability to lead the development and implementation of projects
  • Strong human relations skills and ability to interact with employees in a unionized and non-unionized environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills
  • Experience using computerized HR/Payroll systems and reporting software preferred
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and corporate email
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a confidential setting independently and under time constraints
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills to proactively problem-solve
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders and employees
