Job Title: HR Employee Experience Wellbeing Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Employee Experience Wellbeing Consultant to join our team at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being and experience of our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement employee experience and wellbeing initiatives to enhance the overall work environment and promote a culture of well-being.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver programs that meet the evolving needs of the organization and its employees.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on wellbeing-related matters, including mental health, physical health, and work-life balance.
  • Conduct needs assessments and analyze data to inform the development of wellbeing initiatives and programs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with employees, managers, and stakeholders to promote a culture of well-being and engagement.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in human resources, health sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in employee wellbeing, workplace wellness, health promotion, and/or human resources.
  • Superior interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and ability to function as a collaborative team member.
  • Experience using human resources/payroll systems and database reporting.
  • Ability to lead the development and implementation of projects.
  • Strong human relations skills and ability to interact with employees in a unionized and non-unionized environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated presentation skills.
