- Plan and organize daily operations, including inventory management and scheduling

- Set staff work schedules and ensure adequate coverage
- Supervise staff to ensure compliance with provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
- Conduct performance reviews to ensure staff are meeting expectations
- Cost products and services to ensure profitability
- Enforce health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive business growth
- Lead and instruct individuals to achieve business objectives
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage events to drive business growth and revenue
- 1-2 years of experience in a bar management role
- Proven track record of success in managing bar operations and staff
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Basic security clearance and criminal record check
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Initiative and judgement to make decisions that drive business growth
