Job Title: Bar Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Manager to join our team at Artemis Design Ltd. As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of our bar operations, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Monitor revenues and labour costs to optimize profitability
  • Supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality drinks
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including inventory management and staff scheduling
  • Recruit and train staff to meet the needs of our bar
  • Ensure compliance with provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Cost products and services to ensure profitability
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales and revenue

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a bar or restaurant management role
  • Proven track record of success in managing bar operations and staff
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Basic security clearance and criminal record check
