Job Title: Bar Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Manager to join our team at Artemis Design Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Bar Manager will be responsible for the overall management of our bar operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Monitor revenues and labour costs to determine optimal staffing levels
  • Supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality drinks
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including inventory management and scheduling
  • Recruit and train staff to meet business needs
  • Set staff work schedules and ensure adequate coverage
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • Conduct performance reviews to ensure staff are meeting expectations
  • Cost products and services to ensure profitability
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient operations
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation
  • Lead and instruct individuals to achieve business objectives
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Manage events to ensure smooth execution and high customer satisfaction
Supervision:

The Bar Manager will supervise 5-10 staff members, including bartenders, servers, and hosts/hostesses.
