Job Title: Executive Chef

Mount Alverno Resort and Retreat is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our management team, the Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations, developing menus, and ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to inform menu development and kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Collaborate with our events team to create customized menus for special events and functions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a senior culinary role.
  • Proven track record of menu development and kitchen operations management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to work in a physically demanding kitchen environment.
