About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team at Broadmead Care Society. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Verify and process payroll information, including employee hours, benefits, and deductions.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, including employee data and payment history.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, including tax withholdings and benefits.
  • Communication: Provide excellent customer service to employees and management, responding to payroll-related inquiries and concerns.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as accounting or business administration.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in payroll or a related field.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as payroll certification or accounting certification.
