About the Role

MIDAS is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions, and perform repairs and replacements as needed.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve complex issues with automotive systems and components.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, including advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and other team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in the field, and share knowledge with colleagues to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Garage, Workshop.
