About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic Assistant to join our team at MDR Transportation Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tool Management: Assist in the movement and organization of tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Site Safety: Communicate safety procedures to colleagues and the public, ensuring a secure work environment.
  • Support Services: Provide assistance to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed by supervisors.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness of machines and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
Work Environment
  • Work Setting: Our team operates in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical Demands: The role involves bending, crouching, and kneeling, as well as working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Weight Handling: The successful candidate will be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a team to achieve goals.
