About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Swamper to join our team at Simon Transportation Ltd. As a Swamper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth transportation of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Trucks and Delivery Drivers

Provide support to our truck drivers and delivery personnel in loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring that goods are handled with care and transported safely.

Weight Handling

Be able to lift and handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) with ease, demonstrating a strong physical ability to perform the demands of the role.

Training and Development

We offer on-the-job training to ensure that you have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role. Our goal is to provide a supportive environment that fosters growth and development.

Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced transportation environment, interacting with our drivers, dispatchers, and other team members to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements
  • Education

A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required for this role.

Language

Fluency in English is essential for effective communication with our team and clients.

Work Schedule

You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, with a regular schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
