Job Title: Co-op Student - Contracts Management

Hydro One Networks Inc is seeking a Co-op Student - Contracts Management to join our team. As a Co-op Student, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop key Contract and Project Management concepts.

Job Summary:

The Co-op Student - Contracts Management will assist in the coordination of engineering, procurement, and construction contracts to deliver on new and upgraded electrical infrastructure. You will have exposure to managing high-voltage power line and electrical sub-station construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with contract requirements
  • Monitor and report on contracts progress across transmission and distribution projects
  • Assist with contractor performance evaluations and tracking milestones
  • Assess, plan, budget, and schedule assigned work
  • Prepare and present contract plans and status reports to management and other stakeholders
  • Attend and document station site visits
  • Assist in the development of capital project program, engineering, and construction plans
  • Utilize project application software to populate and articulate execution plans
  • Assist with administrative duties to support Contracts Management and Project Management staff

Requirements:

  • Business Administration discipline
  • 2nd or 3rd year university student
  • Familiar with Microsoft applications, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate
  • Good communications skills and able to present to the team

Additional Information:

Travel to various project sites throughout the province may be required. Ontario Driver's license, G category is preferred. Work location is in Toronto, ON. Currently, this position follows a hybrid working environment.
