AXA XL is seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter to join our Middle Market team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for underwriting and managing complex commercial insurance risks for our Middle Market clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients to understand their risk management needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and underwrite complex commercial insurance policies, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of quotes and policy documentation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, actuaries, and claims professionals, to ensure seamless policy issuance and claims handling.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to provide expert advice and guidance to clients and brokers.
- Meet or exceed underwriting targets and contribute to the growth and profitability of the Middle Market business.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial insurance underwriting, with a strong focus on Middle Market clients.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and clients.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed underwriting decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance products, including liability, property, and workers' compensation.
