Food Service Shift Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated **Shift Manager** to oversee our culinary operations at 1414728 BC Ltd. This is a **permanent position** requiring a commitment of **40 to 50 hours per week**. The ideal candidate will possess a **trades certificate or diploma** and have **7 months to less than 1 year** of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to achieve work schedules.
- Order food and kitchen supplies as needed.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff engaged in food preparation and portioning.
- Train employees on job responsibilities, sanitation standards, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Prepare and submit necessary reports.
- Compile food order summaries for the chef.
- Possess knowledge of the establishment's culinary styles.
- Oversee the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
This role operates in a **fast-paced environment** that requires the ability to work under pressure and stand for extended periods.
Qualifications- Availability for shift or on-call work.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
- Proximity to the workplace is preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Required certifications must be held.
