Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at strEATS. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure efficient inventory management
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure that our operations are financially sustainable
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our inventory management and budgeting decisions
  • Establish work schedules to ensure that our team is adequately staffed and that our customers receive prompt and efficient service
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with our team and customers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
