Position: Law Clerk - Condominium / Real Estate Law

Location: Vaughan, ON

Overview: If you possess 3-5+ years of expertise in condominium and real estate law, this opportunity with Linds & Associates could be a perfect fit for you. We are seeking a dedicated professional to enhance our team.

Salary: $75,000 - $125,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in all facets of condominium projects, including sales and disclosure documentation.
  • Prepare closing documents for condominium units.
  • Assist in the registration of condominiums and related by-laws.
  • Communicate directly with clients and other legal offices.
  • Draft and modify correspondence as necessary.
  • Prepare reporting letters and accounts for clients.
  • Open files using PCLaw.
  • Conduct sub-searches of title and off-title searches.
  • Prepare various documents in Teraview, including Transfers, Charges, Easements, Notices, Condominium By-Laws, Discharges, etc.
  • Organize and maintain both physical and electronic files.

Key Requirements:

  • A diploma in Legal Administration and/or a Law Clerk program, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in condominium law is essential.
  • Ability to independently manage sale transactions from initiation to completion.
  • Proficiency in Word, WordPerfect, Excel, Conveyancer, PC Law, and Teraview.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
