Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Law Clerk specializing in Condominium and Real Estate Law to join our esteemed firm, Linds & Associates. This role is ideal for candidates with a robust background in this legal domain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in all phases of condominium projects, including the preparation of sales and disclosure documentation.
  • Draft and finalize all necessary closing documents for condominium units.
  • Assist in the registration processes for condominiums and related by-laws.
  • Maintain direct communication with clients and other legal professionals.
  • Prepare correspondence and reporting letters for clients.
  • Manage file openings in PCLaw and conduct sub-searches of title and off-title searches.
  • Utilize Teraview to prepare various legal documents, including Transfers, Charges, Easements, Notices, and Condominium By-Laws.
  • Organize and uphold both physical and electronic filing systems.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A diploma in Legal Administration or a Law Clerk program, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Condominium Law.
  • The ability to independently manage sale transactions from initiation to completion.
  • Proficiency in software applications such as Word, WordPerfect, Excel, Conveyancer, PC Law, and Teraview.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
