Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at Shingo Construction Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to management on project progress, including production and other relevant metrics.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to, and that workers are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, including material requisitioning and equipment maintenance.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects, and ensure that all necessary resources are available.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Organized and reliable with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with a flexible attitude.
  • Judgement and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work on construction sites, which may involve working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.

The primary language of work is English.
