About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team at Shyam Drywall Ltd. as a Construction Assistant. This is a permanent position that requires a team player with a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials from vehicles and equipment.
  • Erecting and Dismantling: Help to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mixing and Spreading: Assist in mixing and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Demolition and Cleanup: Assist in demolishing buildings and cleaning up the site.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and machinery.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris from the construction site.
  • Machinery Operation: Assist in operating machines and equipment used in construction.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires working in a noisy and dusty environment. The physical demands of the job include lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and working in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
