Senior Mammography Technologist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our BreastCheck program, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mammography services to our patients in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mammography procedures using digital imaging equipment
- Position and compress patients to ensure accurate and high-quality images
- Maintain accurate records and reports of patient procedures and results
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Radiological Technology education program
- Successful completion of Breast Imaging 1 and Breast Imaging 2 CAMRT courses
- Member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists - Manitoba (CAMRT-MB)
- Compliant with Canadian Association of Radiology (CAR) continuing education requirements for Mammography Technologists
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in working in a Digital Imaging department using RIS, PACS, and EMR systems
- Valid Manitoba Driver's License and current Driver's Abstract
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and evenings, and willingness to travel to communities across Manitoba
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous mammography experience
Assets:
- Knowledge of Population Health and Screening Programs
- Experience using Maxon BSP and PenRad
- Ability to speak French
