Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paramedic Education Instructor to join our team at NAIT. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and training to students in our Primary and Advanced Care Paramedic programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver curriculum for Paramedic Education programs, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Teach and assess students in a classroom, lab, and clinical setting, using a variety of instructional methods and technologies.
- Evaluate student learning and provide feedback to improve student outcomes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and stakeholders to ensure program relevance and effectiveness.
- Stay current with industry developments and advancements, incorporating new knowledge and skills into instruction.
- Participate in program development and evaluation, contributing to the continuous improvement of our Paramedic Education programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from a recognized Advanced Care Paramedic program, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.
- Registration with The Alberta College of Paramedics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
- Proven teaching and instructional skills, with experience in adult education.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to student success and program excellence.
