The RoleWe are seeking multiple Assistant Project Managers to support our field operations and leadership team in coordinating the building process for concrete high-rise projects. These projects involve large-scale multi-phase high-rise developments and standalone towers. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to direct and own project performance, including costs, schedule, quality assurance, and project status.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure project delivery on-time, within scope, and within budget;
- Develop and manage project scope, schedule, costs, and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility;
- Work with our project accounting team to submit progress claims, provide forecasts, cost-to-complete, invoice reviews, and cost management;
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with vendors, third-party contacts, consultants, engineers, and subtrade partners through effective communication;
- Ensure efficiency, quality, technical competence, and fair management of trades and suppliers;
- Assist the Project Manager in contract negotiations and management with trades, updating the construction schedule, preparing change order management, and preparing progress draws;
- Coordinate and maintain comprehensive project documentation in a detail-oriented manner;
- Track procurement of equipment and material and report on delivery dates that may impact project schedule;
- Review Site Instructions with the Project Coordination team, communicate key elements to Site Superintendents and Project Managers;
- Collaborate with Trade Partners to ensure fair Change Order pricing is provided in a timely manner;
- Guide the Project Coordinator team by answering questions and overseeing quality and accuracy of tasks completed.
