Optical Department Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optical Department Manager to join our team at Real Canadian Superstore. As an Optical Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of optical professionals to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales in our optical department.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of optical professionals to provide outstanding customer service and drive sales
- Manage employee scheduling and labour management to ensure optimal productivity
- Maintain strong working relationships with Head Office to ensure seamless operations
- Meet and exceed optical sales targets through effective sales strategies and customer engagement
- Provide optical training to staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to provide exceptional customer service
- Take measurements, fit, adjust, repair & dispense eyeglasses, contact lenses and specialty eyewear, based on province
- Order and receive product to ensure optimal inventory levels
- Build and lead diverse teams that foster a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging
- Provincially licensed within the jurisdiction and a minimum of 1-year Optical experience
- Management experience is an asset
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Highly organized, diligent, with strong time management capabilities
- Enthusiastic and concise communication to meet & exceed customer expectations
- A love for fashion, eyewear, and the retail industry
