Join Our Team as an Optical Department Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optical Department Manager to join our team at Real Canadian Superstore. As an Optical Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of optical professionals to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales in our optical department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of optical professionals to provide outstanding customer service and drive sales
  • Manage employee scheduling and labour management to ensure optimal productivity
  • Maintain strong working relationships with Head Office to ensure seamless operations
  • Meet and exceed optical sales targets through effective sales strategies and customer engagement
  • Provide optical training to staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to provide exceptional customer service
  • Take measurements, fit, adjust, repair & dispense eyeglasses, contact lenses and specialty eyewear, based on province
  • Order and receive product to ensure optimal inventory levels
  • Build and lead diverse teams that foster a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging
Requirements:
  • Provincially licensed within the jurisdiction and a minimum of 1-year Optical experience
  • Management experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Highly organized, diligent, with strong time management capabilities
  • Enthusiastic and concise communication to meet & exceed customer expectations
  • A love for fashion, eyewear, and the retail industry
