Linamar Corporation is seeking a Level 3 - Maintenance Supervisor for our dedicated maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, motivate, and oversee a team of maintenance technicians, offering guidance, support, and training to ensure their success. Organize and prioritize maintenance activities, ensuring timely and efficient completion. Conduct hands-on maintenance tasks, including repairs, installations, and troubleshooting, leveraging your expertise in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or general building maintenance. Implement and uphold safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for the team and mitigate hazards. Collaborate with other departments to ensure maintenance requirements are met, fostering a culture of teamwork and cooperation. Maintain precise records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory management. Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies in maintenance to enhance our operations continuously. Establish and uphold maintenance standards and develop and recommend maintenance programs. Install new equipment utilizing external services when necessary. Sustain the equipment and facility through a preventive and predictive maintenance program. Review work orders and personal logbooks for upcoming tasks. Ensure equipment and facilities are operational for maximum uptime.

Qualifications:

A Technical / High School diploma or equivalent trade certification. Fully skilled in one or more trades (level 3 Maintenance or electrician preferred). A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in a maintenance role, with a solid background in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or general building maintenance. Basic welding skills. Familiarity with various control systems (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens). Advanced troubleshooting skills for servo motors, drivers, encoders, etc. Ability to read and comprehend all relevant codes and regulations. Proven experience in a maintenance capacity, with a strong foundation in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or general building maintenance. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. Experience in automotive manufacturing is essential.

Desired Attributes:

Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity is preferred. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members and other departments. Capability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Physical endurance and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as required. Ability to perform tasks independently under general direction. Capacity to supervise and train apprentices and maintenance laborers. Willingness to work all rotating shifts. Availability to work overtime as needed.
