Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at GP LANDSCAPING INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our landscaping team, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Supervision: Hire, train, and supervise a team of landscaping staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Plan and direct the maintenance of our grounds, including mowing, pruning, and other tasks as required.
  • Labor and Materials Estimation: Plan and estimate the labor and materials required for each project, ensuring that we are always within budget.
  • Construction Management: Plan, manage, and supervise the construction of decks, decorative walls, and other landscape features.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work completed, including logs and reports.
  • Contract Administration: Tender and administer contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Repair and maintain equipment to ensure that it is always in good working order.
  • Problem Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the required standard.
Personal Suitability
  • Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure that all clients are satisfied with the work completed.
  • Communication: Possess excellent oral communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with clients, staff, and other stakeholders.
