As a leader in innovative safety technology, we are looking for a dedicated professional to fill the role of Financial Systems & Project Lead. This position is crucial for overseeing and steering financial initiatives from their inception through to successful completion, ensuring they align with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ERP System Ownership: Take charge of the company's ERP financial system within the Finance & Accounting division, collaborating with our Enterprise IT team to drive continuous enhancements and ensure seamless integration with other departmental systems.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement strategies to refine Finance & Accounting workflows, enhancing both efficiency and accuracy.
  • Documentation Management: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and workflows that support financial processes and practices.
  • Project Leadership: Direct and manage a variety of financial projects and system implementations, ensuring timely completion within defined scopes and budgets.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analyses to inform project planning and decision-making.
  • Budget Oversight: Develop and track project budgets, offering insights and recommendations for effective financial planning.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and address financial risks associated with projects, implementing robust risk management strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and aligned with the broader organizational vision.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess and report on project performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and company policies, supporting organizational controls through effective design and application of financial systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA, MBA, or PMP are preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial systems management and project oversight, with a proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong grasp of financial management and accounting principles.
  • Exceptional project management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a willingness to master the Company's NetSuite ERP system.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and robust organizational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience in developing and executing financial processes and systems.
