About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Systems and Project Lead to join our team at Adecco Canada. As a key member of our Finance and Accounting department, you will be responsible for the ownership and optimization of our Company's ERP financial system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial System Ownership: Engage with our Enterprise IT team to deliver continuous process improvements and ensure ongoing integration of information systems used by other departments.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to Finance and Accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Process Documentation: Develop and maintain proper documentation and workflows to support financial processes and procedures.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage multiple financial projects and systems implementations, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support project planning and decision-making processes.
  • Project Budget Management: Prepare and monitor project budgets, providing insights and recommendations for financial planning.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects, ensuring robust risk management practices are in place.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Project Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor and report on project performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies, and support our organization's controls by ensuring proper design, effectiveness, and application of the Company's financial systems and controls.
Requirements
  • Eligibility: Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. CPA, MBA, or relevant certification (PMP) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial systems administration and project management or a related field, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of financial management and accounting principles. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a willingness to develop a full working knowledge of the Company's NetSuite ERP system.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
