Senior Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Jacobs & Company Steakhouse. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, as well as leading and mentoring our kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Development: Collaborate with our executive chef to create new and innovative menu items that showcase our culinary expertise.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train our kitchen staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide exceptional service and quality food.
- Inventory Management: Requisition and manage food and kitchen supplies to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet our culinary standards.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our menu items meet our high standards.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that all menu items are prepared and presented to the highest standard.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent culinary skills, leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
As a member of our team, you will be working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with tight deadlines and high expectations. You will be required to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding environment.
