Job Summary

JASP Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Tooling Inspector to join our team. As a Tooling Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and Lay Out Work Pieces: Verify the dimensions and specifications of work pieces in preparation for assembly.
  • Read and Interpret Engineering Drawings: Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Set Up and Adjust Production Machinery: Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Document and Report Deviations: Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances to ensure quality control.
  • Maintain Inspection Records: Maintain accurate inspection records and complete inspection reports to track quality control metrics.
  • Verify Dimensions of Parts: Verify the dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and conformance to specifications.
  • Operate Machine Tools: Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to ensure efficient production processes.

JASP Manufacturing is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic. As a Tooling Inspector, you will be working in a physically demanding environment that requires standing for extended periods and attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Automotive manufacturing and automobile repair services.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, team player, and quick learner.
