About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machining and Tooling Inspector to join our team at GOULD FASTENERS LIMITED. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of precision and accuracy in our machining and tooling operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dimensional Measurement and Inspection: Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers) and verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments, document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, and maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
  • Education and Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in machining and tooling operations. A college or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field is required.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Steel-toed safety boots are required.
  • Personal Qualities and Skills: Accurate, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, initiative, and a team player attitude.
