About the Role

Gould Fasteners Limited is seeking a skilled Machining and Tooling Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our quality control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of our machined parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dimensional Measurement and Inspection: Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts, verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, and verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments, document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, and maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work independently, maintain attention to detail, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: College/CEGEP degree and 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, initiative, and a team player attitude.
