About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team at Spruce Garden Ltd. as a Landscape Worker. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, maintaining outdoor spaces, and performing various tasks related to gardening and horticulture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Tie and secure plants, and rake and collect refuse.
  • Cut grass, cart and spread topsoil and other materials, and lay sod or seed.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and apply fertilizers.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, and perform tree removal tasks.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The successful candidate will work outdoors in various weather conditions, at heights, and in physically demanding environments. The role requires manual dexterity, bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work 32 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
