Landscape Worker Job Description

At SPRUCE GARDEN LTD., we are seeking a skilled Landscape Worker to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor horticulture team, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of our gardens and landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and pruners.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, ensuring they receive the necessary care and attention.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, including tools and machinery.
  • Work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, often at heights and in varying weather conditions.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and working at heights.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to perform tasks that require fine motor skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, often at heights and in varying weather conditions. The ability to work in a physically demanding environment and handle heavy loads is essential.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The successful candidate will work 32 hours per week.
