About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to join our team at Royal Canadian Steel. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy and direction of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets that align with the company's overall strategy
    • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of financial professionals to achieve business objectives
    • Develop and implement talent management strategies to ensure the growth and development of team members
  • Strategic Partnerships
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, customers, and suppliers
    • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and collaborations to drive business growth
  • Operational Excellence
    • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks to ensure the stability and security of the organization
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role
  • Skills
    • Excellent financial planning and analysis skills
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
