About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to join our team at Royal Canadian Steel. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the company's financial strategy and ensuring the long-term success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets that align with the company's strategic objectives
    • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of financial professionals to achieve business objectives
    • Develop and implement effective leadership and management strategies to drive team performance
  • Strategic Partnerships
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, board members, and external partners
    • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and collaborations to drive business growth
  • Operational Excellence
    • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks to ensure the company's financial stability
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Experience
    • 5 years or more of experience in a senior financial leadership role
    • Proven track record of driving financial growth and improvement
  • Skills
    • Excellent financial planning and analysis skills
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
