Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Director to lead our Canadian Accounting and Finance department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and oversight to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Leadership: Provide strong financial reporting and analytical review of financial results, ensuring proper maintenance of all general ledger accounts and financial transactions.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare monthly financial statements, coordinate annual audit, and assist in the annual budgeting process.
  • Team Leadership: Leverage strengths of the current team members and develop training programs to maximize individual and organizational goals.
  • Strategic Planning: Work with the leadership team to develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including large healthcare groups.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in accounting, including public accounting and industry experience.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
