Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager Trainee to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of customer service representatives, providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of customer service representatives, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue business opportunities to drive growth and development, working closely with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Risk Management: Ensure that all business activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and bank policies, identifying and mitigating any risks that may arise.
  • Operational Excellence: Continuously improve processes and procedures to ensure that they are efficient, effective, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Branch Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong background in team management and business development.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
