Job Description

Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with existing and prospective clients in the health insurance industry. This role will focus on identifying business growth opportunities, developing strategic plans, and delivering exceptional customer service to meet and exceed corporate goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including brokers, advisors, and insurance carriers, to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Business Growth Strategy: Identify and develop business growth opportunities, including up-selling and expansion, to meet corporate strategic goals.
  • Account Planning: Develop and implement client-specific strategic plans, monitor progress, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, working closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and meet client expectations.
  • Qualifications:
    • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
    • Language: Bilingualism (French/English) is a must.
    • Industry Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience in the health insurance industry or a related field.
    • Skills: Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office, and excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
