About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Clearance Specialist to join our team at ESHPRE GLOBAL INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth clearance of imports and exports, while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clearance and Compliance
    • Prepare and process import and export documents, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
    • Verify and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including customs duties, taxes, and restrictions.
    • Coordinate with clients and carriers to ensure timely and accurate clearance of shipments.
  • Trade Facilitation
    • Negotiate rates and terms with carriers and other stakeholders to optimize trade costs.
    • Prepare contracts and other documents to facilitate trade.
    • Quote duty and tax rates on commodities to ensure accurate pricing.
  • Client Support
    • Provide exceptional client service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Advise clients on export and import restrictions, as well as any changes to regulations or laws.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in customs clearance or a related field
  • Skills
    • Excellent knowledge of customs regulations and laws
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
