As a key member of the maintenance team, under the guidance of the Operations Supervisor, the technician will execute vibration and predictive monitoring tasks, analyze data, and prepare detailed reports and recommendations. Regular interaction with clients will be essential to assist them in preventing unexpected downtimes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct vibration, thermographic, and ultrasonic assessments on industrial machinery.
  • Collect oil samples for condition evaluation.
  • Analyze data using specialized software and document findings.
  • Create reports and provide technical recommendations while engaging with clients.
  • Perform precision corrective tasks, including dynamic balancing and laser alignment in industrial settings.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of plant reliability programs, including lubrication strategies and preventive maintenance optimization.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • DEP or DEC in mechanical engineering or industrial maintenance.
  • Prior experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to act in the best interest of clients.
  • Professional demeanor with strong communication skills, autonomy, and initiative.
  • Proficiency in French and functional English.
  • Capable of producing clear and impactful reports that convey recommendations effectively.
  • Willingness to travel within Eastern Canada.
