Internal Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our company, Paymentus. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our company's compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).
Key Responsibilities- Manage and implement internal audit programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address audit findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of audit recommendations
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices
- Communicate audit results and recommendations to senior management
- Ensure audit documentation is accurate and complete
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Extensive experience in auditing, risk management, and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in audit software and tools
- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and other regulatory requirements
- Ability to travel as needed
