Job Summary

Pembroke Hospitality Inc. is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a smooth stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel and change room reservations, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Customer Service: Provide general information about points of interest in the area, process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments, and balance cash and complete balance sheets.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments.
  • Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform clerical duties such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Communication: Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: Will train.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
