Pembroke Hospitality Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless stay.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Registration and Check-in/Check-out: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process group arrivals and departures.
- Room Reservations and Management: Take, cancel, and change room reservations, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Guest Services: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, and offer general information about points of interest in the area.
- Payment and Billing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments, and balance cash and complete balance sheets and cash reports.
- Clerical and Administrative Tasks: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: Will train, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
- Personal Qualities: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
This is a permanent position with a variable schedule of 24 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English, and the work term is permanent.
