We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician to join our team at Imagine Health Centres. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Prescribe and Administer Medications and Treatments: Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications and administering treatments as needed.
- Perform and Assist in Routine Surgery: Perform routine surgical procedures and assist in more complex surgeries as needed.
- Inoculate and Vaccinate Patients: Administer vaccinations and inoculations to patients to prevent and treat diseases.
- Deliver Babies and Provide Prenatal and Postnatal Care: Provide prenatal and postnatal care to expectant mothers and deliver babies as needed.
- Advise Patients on Healthcare: Provide patients with guidance and advice on healthcare-related matters.
- Report Births, Deaths, and Contagious Diseases: Report births, deaths, and contagious diseases to government authorities as required.
- Be the Patient Advocate: Act as a patient advocate, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
- Coordinate or Manage Primary Patient Care: Coordinate or manage primary patient care, including developing treatment plans and monitoring patient progress.
- Provide Acute Care Management: Provide acute care management, including diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and injuries.
- Provide Counselling and Support: Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
- Provide Emergency Care: Provide emergency care, including responding to emergency situations and providing life-saving interventions.
- Supervise Home Care Services: Supervise home care services, including coordinating with home care providers and monitoring patient progress.
- Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC): Hold a valid LMCC license.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, including responding to emergency situations and managing multiple patients at once.
- Organized: Be highly organized, with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Reliability: Be reliable, with a strong commitment to patient care and a willingness to go above and beyond to meet patient needs.
- Provides Physical Accessibility Accommodations: Provide physical accessibility accommodations, including ramps, elevators, and other accessibility features.
- Participates in Disability Support Programs: Participate in government or community programs that support persons with disabilities.
- Participates in Newcomer Support Programs: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees.
- Provides Diversity and Cross-Cultural Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
- Participates in Youth Employment Programs: Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment.
- Provides Awareness Training: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Participates in Veteran Support Programs: Participate in government or community programs that support veterans.
- Participates in Indigenous Support Programs: Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people.
- Provides Cultural Competency Training: Provide cultural competency training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Participates in Mature Worker Support Programs: Participate in government or community programs that support mature workers.
- Participates in Visible Minority Support Programs: Participate in government or community programs that support visible minorities.
- Provides Diversity and Cross-Cultural Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for visible minorities.
