We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician to join our team at Deer Ridge Family Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze patient information to identify diseases and injuries, and develop effective treatment plans.
- Examine patients to assess their physical and mental health, and provide guidance on healthy habits and wellness.
- Order diagnostic tests and procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment, and consult with other medical professionals as needed.
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments, and provide patients with education on their health and wellness.
- Participate in health care policy and planning, and contribute to the development of new treatments and procedures.
- Advise patients on health care options and provide support and guidance on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
- Report births, deaths, and contagious diseases to government authorities, and maintain accurate records of patient care.
- College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
- Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
- Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II)
Our clinic is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.
