Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Family Physician to join our community health clinic in Brampton, Ontario. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to comprehensive primary care services.
Responsibilities:- Provide continuous and comprehensive healthcare for individuals and families across all ages, genders, and medical conditions.
- Develop and manage treatment plans for both acute and chronic diseases.
- Educate patients on disease prevention and health maintenance.
- Conduct routine check-ups, assessments, and vaccinations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and staff to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
- Certification by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing medical education.
- Ability to manage a diverse range of health issues in patients of all age groups.
- High standards of discipline, punctuality, courtesy, ethics, and compassion.
- Respect from colleagues and patients, supported by a structured process that fosters professional recognition.
- All billing and paperwork submissions handled by the clinic.
- Opportunities to work in a collaborative space alongside Audiologists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Initial fee-for-service model, transitioning to Family Health Group (FHG) and later to Family Health Organization (FHO) with input from charter members of the clinic.
